Service Agreement
Payment
Upon signing this contract, a non-refundable reservation fee of $300 is required to secure the event date and time. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event. Payment of any amount implies acceptance of this Service Agreement.
Venue Requirements
The photo booth requires a flat, undercover area measuring 3 metres by 3 metres by 2.2 metres high. The venue must provide a standard 240V electrical outlet within 10 metres of the photo booth location. The venue must also provide unobstructed access, consisting of no more than one flight of stairs, at least 2 hours before and immediately after the photo booth service times (unless idle time has been requested). Doorways, stairwells, and ramps must be at least 800 mm in width. For optimal reliability, the venue should provide Wi-Fi access. If the Client informs the Provider in advance about the venue’s lack of provision and requests the Provider to address the shortfall, the Provider will default to a print-only service in the rare event of poor signal connectivity, without recompense for the digital shortfall during the event. The digital gallery will be uploaded post-event as usual.
Operation
For optimal performance, the operator may occasionally suspend operation to conduct maintenance. The Provider aims to be operational for over 90% of the service period. However, if the Provider cannot provide a working service for at least 90% of the service period, the Client will receive a prorated refund based on the amount of service received below the 90% threshold. The Provider will not be liable for any event beyond reasonable control, such as a power outage, fire, natural disaster, or similar. The Provider may cease operation if the service is being used in a potentially hazardous manner to any persons or the equipment. The Client is liable for equipment failure or damage caused by event guests to the extent of the Provider’s insurance excess plus 30%. The Client must ensure that the Master of Ceremonies (MC) or equivalent informs all event guests about the services and that all children under 12 are accompanied by an adult.
System Configurations
The Provider reserves the right to adjust system configurations to suit environmental conditions. The system will be set up to provide the best platform to meet the minimum operational obligations outlined in the ‘Operation’ section above. The primary function of the photo booth is to provide service during the event, so specific photo resolution cannot be guaranteed. The Provider will strive to deliver the best quality imagery without compromising service functionality.
Copyright of Photos
The Client acknowledges that the Provider retains the rights to all photos taken during the event. These photos may be used for display, advertising, website, social media, or publication purposes without any compensation to the Client.
Privacy Policy
The Provider will not sell your details to any third party and will take reasonable measures to ensure your details remain confidential.
Date Changes And Cancellation
Any request for a date change must be made in writing at least thirty days in advance of the original event date. Change is subject to photo booth availability and receipt of a new Service Contract. If there is no availability for the alternate date, the non-refundable reservation fee will be forfeited, and the photo booth hire will be cancelled. If the photo booth hire is cancelled for any reason, the non-refundable reservation fee will be forfeited. If the Client cancels 90 days or more before the event date, all payments made excluding the initial deposit of $300 will be refunded. Any cancellation occurring less than 30 days prior to the event date will forfeit all payments received.
Miscellaneous
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Provider and the Client relating to the subject matter herein and can only be modified in writing, signed by both parties. If, for reasons beyond our control, no service is received, the Provider’s maximum liability will be the return of all payments received from the Client. The Provider is not responsible for any consequential damages or lost opportunities upon breach of this agreement.
